The music by candlelight was a wonderful experience. The Havenwood Quartet played music by Queen and they were outstanding! I highly recommend going to one of these experiences if you get the opportunity!

It would be helpful to have better signage for where to go in the building for the Bond Ballroom because now that the building has been converted to housing, it’s confusing where to enter and where to go once inside.

We had a lovely time at seeing the Havenwood String Quartet playing Adele. Superb music! The only draw backs I saw were allowing people to arrive late and seating them where they needed to walk in front of other seated guests disturbing and interrupting the views…this happened on 4 different late guest arrivals….which we found strange since it definitely says NO LATE ARRIVALS ARE ALLOWED IN OR SEATED AFTER DOORS ARE CLOSED AND CONCERT STARTS. and the second issue is the seats…so uncomfortable…there is MINIMAL padding on the chair seat to make it a comfortable seating experience…

We sat gathered around the four musicians, they were on a lifted stage, only a couple of feet high, so everyone could see them yet maintained an air of intimacy. The musicians were brilliant, highly skilled and emotionally moving. Surrounded by candles in a beautiful ballroom the evening was magical and I can't wait to go again!

The candlelight tribute Adele on Saturday night, September 14 in the Bonds Ballroom was such an amazing moment sharing this event with my mom meant everything to me and she’s getting up there in age. What a beautiful setting in the quartet was amazing ! Hopefully, I’ll get a chance again share this wonderful opportunity with my mom in the near future. You guys were amazing and thank you.

I went to the Bond Ballroom for a candle light concert. Overall, the concert was absolutely wonderful. The venue itself was incredibly disappointing. The staff were friendly and the music was great. There were a few issues I noted with the venue itself. The first was that it smelled like cigarettes. At first, I thought maybe the smell was coming from another attendee. When I used the restroom and later in the evening walked down the stairwell, both locations reeked of cigarettes to the point where it was overwhelming. The concert was also on the 11th or 12th floor of the building. To get to the actually ballroom, you needed to either take the stairs or get crammed into a tiny elevator. We ended up taking the stairs because it was super time consuming to wait for the elevator. The style of the venue seemed outdated and the bathrooms weren’t incredibly clean. It wasn’t a horrible experience but I wouldn’t go back.

Candlelight was great here. Amazing set up fun staff - been at another location and I liked the quartet a bit more (seemed like they were more experienced with their material) but I will come again and have already recommended a million times.

I got married here on October 26, 2024. I have waited 2.5 months to leave a review to give my mind time to really process and decide what I want to say.

While I loved my wedding day and it was mostly great, if I could go back, I wouldn’t pick this venue again. They were my most stressful vendor to deal with by far and I will list out why.

Communication: Horrid. Absolutely horrible. I started off assigned to a woman named Nina. Nina would take up to 3 days to answer me, only after I had to send multiple emails and text messages. This is a significant deal considering I was a customer that needed answers to make payment deadlines and answer questions from other vendors.

Multiple times I had to give her my selections, I was given different answers about costs and options, everything was a jumbled mess.

Eventually, we made it to the tasting. The food was incredible BUT we were deceived, and I’ll get to that later.

At one point, about a month/month and a half before my wedding, communication stopped. Radio silence from Nina, not sure if she quit or was fired, but I was getting no response. I eventually reached out to the Bond Ballroom directly and was called by another employee that said she “was just about to reach out to me and misplaced my file.” WHAT!?

I had to give all my information again; all my selections, everything!!!! I wanted to panic, but it was far too late to go elsewhere. There were several times I’d ask a question to be told “I’ll check into that and let you know, and never really receive an answer.” After multiple calls, emails, and texts later to get everyone up to speed, it was time for the wedding day.

Most everything was ok except:

They never unlocked the doors for any of the guests, so we had to let them in ourselves. We were told they would unlock the doors prior to the ceremony.

The staff took the boutonnieres and did who knows what with them? The men didn’t have them at all. I’m not sure if they were thrown away or what, but they were in the chapel at one point when everyone was getting ready and gone the next.

The food was AWFUL. It was completely different than the tasting. The steak was so overcooked it was completely grey and just caked/coated with a pepper spice rub. The amount of spices were unbearable, like a thick coating along every bit of the surface of the steak. I love seasoning, don’t get me wrong, but it was disgusting. My husband was IRATE, and the staff went and brought him out a new steak that was medium cooked, but still coated in that nasty seasoning rub. They gave some lame excuse of the outer grill cooking hotter than the inside. Half of our guests didn’t even eat their food. To say we were embarrassed is an understatement as we’d been hyping up the food to everyone for months.

And a minor thing; the staff wasn’t listening to me when it was time to walk down the aisle. I told them my song had started, but they weren’t paying attention. So, everyone thought I was going to be a runaway bride since it took almost a good solid minute for me to enter after my song started.

I wish it had all gone better. I had high hopes based on reviews, but maybe I was just the unlucky one. I do want to say thank you to all of the other staff though for all of their hard work. It was still a great day overall.
